Happy Holidays! Or Bollydays! I’m spending Christmas singing in Darjeeling with Melbourne pianist/composer and arranger Dannie Bourne from The Shuffle Club! We’re having a great time, and the weather has been cold but clear and beautiful – and we’re drinking A LOT of tea. It’s a really intimate show and the hotel we’re in is a very special colonial style place. Two shows this week..

Hi There, thanks to everyone who came down to the Jazz Basement in Wodonga this Friday night just gone – we had such a great time, and it was a real treat to have Mr Peter Baylor (Andy’s brother) filling in for him on guitar. The Jazz Basement for anyone who hasn’t been, is a wonderful venue at the border of Victoria and New South Wales, run by Graeme Cook – it’s got such a fantastic vibe, great sound and hosts some really swingin’ acts.

This week I have two shows before flying to India on Saturday – one at 303 on High Street in Northcote supporting Melbourne Saxophonist, Julien Wilson. I’ll be on from 8-9pm with Sam Lemann and Leigh Barker.. and then Thursday night at The Paris Cat is our album launch for 11:60pm.. visit www.pariscat.com.au for tickets and info.
