Hetty spent five years touring with Australian jazz luminary James Morrison and was the featured vocalist in his award-winning symphonic concert ‘The A to Z of Jazz’ which toured in Australia, NZ, Asia and Europe.

Both Hetty and James have a great love of the American Songbook and started working together in 2012 when Hetty was commissioned to record an album for Australian jazz radio station 'Jazz Track'. With an enormous repertoire of over 350 standards, Hetty has toured projects (featuring James Sherlock) for her album releases, from classic Swing nights, to celebrations of Bop Pianists (Monk / Evans / Brubeck / Silver / Shearing) to Reimagined British New Wave music - with a Hammond Trio (David Bowie, Kate Bush, The Police) and more. With James's experience as a side-man and leader their jazz repertoire is full of beautiful jazz songs both classic and unusual.
